Abboudi Bou Jaoude is the founder and owner of Al Furat publishing house in Beirut, and an avid collector of film posters and related materials, amassing one of the most significant collections of its kind in the world. Collecting since he was 15 years old, he now has over 20,000 items in his collection. He is an active lender of his collection to exhibitions, and in 2015 compiled and published the first publication on films made in Lebanon, Tonight, Cinema in Lebanon, 1929–1979, featuring over 500 pages with full color imagery.
