Noah Miller is a specialized communications advisor. In this interview he shares insight on how messages and news are communicated in Kenya and unpacks the meaning of echo chambers and filter bubbles. He believes the smartphone is a powerful device and can help enable communities, though sometimes it is misused.

Noah Miller is an experienced communications advisor based in Nairobi. He has a deep understanding of the role of communication at the center of government, particularly in the context of post-crisis states including Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia and South Sudan. He was educated at Babson College, The London School of Economics and Political Science, and Said Business School at the University of Oxford. He was a distinguished visiting faculty member at the Aga Khan University Graduate School of Media and Communications, 2016–2018.
