Shaikha Ali Al-Marri is a member of Qatar's Youth Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Sports. A graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar with a major in Graphic Design, her committee work includes uncovering and identifying the opportunities to develop youth-focused initiatives within her native Qatar. In this interview, Shaikha talks about the role of women in sports, the barriers women face and questions why more forums to debate these issues are not present.
