ABOUT

Over 400 million people worldwide speak Arabic. It is the language of the holy Quran and one of the six official languages of the United Nations. While some Arabs speak it as a second language, others don't speak Arabic at all. Rich and diverse, the Arabic language has multiple forms, characteristics, and dialects. From Doha to Casablanca, this can hinder mutual understanding. This primer will help you trace imprints of Arabic from the past, navigate its multifaceted present, and contemplate its precarious future in a world dominated by English.
