ABOUT

A practicing documentarian, Colette Ghunim's experience making films that follow and tell real stories is already having an impact. In this interview she discusses the different techniques and styles used in filmmaking and the dent they can make in society.

Colette Ghunim is a videographer, editor and storyteller who co-directed the award-winning documentary The People's Girls (2016), which examines the issue of sexual harassment in Egypt through a series of interviews and social experiments. She is currently in the works on an upcoming documentary. Ghunim is a graduate of Northwestern University.
