Evelyn Azeeza Alsultany is the Associate Professor in the Department of American Culture, and Director of Arab and Muslim American Studies, at the University of Michigan, USA. She leads the Islamophobia Working Group on her university’s campus to advise the administration on how to create more inclusive environments. She is the author and co-editor of several books, amongst them the winner of the Arab American National Museum’s Evelyn Shakir Book Award, Arab and Arab American Feminisms: Gender, Violence, and Belonging (2011).
